In December, 2005, Advanced American Construction, Inc. merged Advanced American Diving Service, Inc. and M. Cutter Company. Advanced American Construction, Inc. continues to provide the same award-winning, high quality, and cost-effective marine construction, diving, and industrial services it has since 1983.

Dee Burch, P.E.
President

As both partner and President of Advanced American Construction, Dee brings extensive estimating and large project management experience to the company. His professional expertise enhances Advanced American Construction's ability to successfully bid and complete multi-million dollar projects.

Dee also serves as Senior Construction Engineer and Chief Estimator, and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the states of Oregon, Washington, California and Arizona.


Mike Johns
Vice President of Operations

Starting his career with Advanced American Diving Service in 1985 as a diver, Mike's hard work and commitment to quality customer service has earned him an equal partnership in the company. He currently serves as Chief of Operations, including dispatching of personnel, and continues to be an on-site General Superintendent on larger projects.

Mike's vast heavy marine salvage, construction, and large project management experience has helped make Advanced American Construction a leader in marine construction and consulting.

 

Jeff Harper
Engineering Manager/Project Sponsor

Jeff serves as Engineering Manager for AAC, overseeing the company's estimating and engineering. Jeff also serves as a large job estimator and project sponsor. Jeff joined Advanced American Diving Service in 1998 and became a partner a year later. With a degree in civil and environmental engineering, Jeff has managed a number of large, heavy construction jobs in Washington, Oregon, California, and Hawaii, emphasizing excellence in cost control and safety.

 

Grayson Hart
Operations Manager - Industrial Services

Grayson has been with Advanced American Construction, Inc. from its beginning in 1983, becoming a partner in 1999. Grayson has worked in all phases of marine construction with 20 years experience in rigging, crane operation, hydraulic systems, underwater salvage, underwater video inspection, underwater welding and burning, concrete construction, carpentry, general mechanics and underwater drilling & blasting. Grayson is an effective project manager of small and large jobs. He assists with overseeing the industrial services jobs, and he is often the person to whom the Company turns to find unique solutions to difficult jobs.

Tim Nelson
Manager - Diving Operations

Tim joined Advanced American Diving Service in 1989 as a diver, having received a degree in Diving Technology. With his expertise, energy, and positive attitude, Tim quickly rose to the level of dive supervisor and project superintendent, working on many unique projects in Oregon, Washington and Colorado. Becoming a partner in 1999, Tim now assists with managing the dive crews and many of the operations, as well as bidding and managing large and small marine construction and diving projects for the Company.
